Upon arrival, we were shocked to find the inn deserted, with no one to check us in. It took a frustrating amount of time to receive a response to our texts about the situation. When we finally got into our room, it was acceptable but had issues like a partially detached screen door and an unsettling atmosphere due to the sudden fire alarm incidents. To make things worse, we had planned to dine at the inn’s restaurant, only to discover upon check-in that it was closed, significantly dampening our expectations for the stay.

Had an awesome time with friends! We explored the local hiking trails and even hit the slopes at a nearby ski resort. The relaxing setting was perfect, and we loved the cozy atmosphere. Don’t miss out on trying the shrimp linguini at the restaurant, seriously delicious! Overall, a great getaway for recreation and relaxation.

The accommodations at Hyde Away Inn were cozy and clean, providing a comfortable atmosphere. The reasonable rates compared to other local lodging options were a pleasant surprise. I appreciated the attentive communication from the hostess and the inviting vibe of the inn, which is located just a short distance from downtown, making it convenient for my business needs.

The Comfort Quadruple Room was pretty cozy and clean, which I liked. The beds were comfy enough for a good night's sleep. There was a cute little living area where we could hang out together. Just a heads up though, there were some noise issues from the bar which could be a bit distracting. Love breakfast with local vibes, especially that French toast!

We loved the cozy atmosphere and enjoyed the fresh breakfast, especially the mouthwatering French toast. The inn's location is perfect, allowing us to soak up all the outdoor activities Waitsfield has to offer, including skiing and some fun hiking trails.

My children wished for a bit more space in the room.
